Ganglion cyst: It sounds like you have a ganglion cyst. This is a small bit of the joint fluid that pushes up out of the joint causing a small cyst. They often go away on their own. Try not to push on it as that may make it irritated and cause it to hurt. If it bothers you, see a doctor.
