Doctor can evaluate: A lower back injury with resultant legs pain usually means there is pressure and irritation of the nerves coming out of the spine. Nerves also come from the spine to the skin, so there may (or may not) be a relationship to the red blotches. The worker's comp doctor can check to see if the blotches are work-related, and if so, refer to a dermatologist or primary care doctor who does worker's comp.
