See a REI specialist: Sorry about the stillbirth. Insulin resistance can be part of pcos or type 2 diabetes. Depending on how long you took the Depo-Provera shot and when you stopped, it could still be affecting your periods. A reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist can figure out why you're irregular and determine whether and when you're ovulating based on your history, with blood tests and/or ultrasound scans.
