Why do you get noises in your stomach?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Air on the move: Your bowels ( including your stomach) are squeezing to propel food downstream. Air is mixed with the slush and creates gurgling sounds as it moves. Sometimes these sounds can be very loud and are known as borborygmi.
