Core strenghthening: I am a big proponent of pilates and yoga core strenghtening regimens in combination with an appropriately restricted low calorie diet. This often helps lower back pain as well. I am less rn outraging about short termhigh intensity interval training. (such as insanity or p90x) that are difficult to maintain over a lifetime.

Weight loss: For flatter abdomen eat healthy & get physically active. Calories burned > calories consumed. To tighten ab's: crunches, reverse crunches, exercise ball crunches, pelvic thrusts, lying leg raises, side bridge & “bicycling” exercise on back. Engage in regular aerobic exercise (i.e. running, swimming, Nordic track, bicycling, kickboxing, walking, cross country skiing, hiking, etc.)
