Uncommon: Real problems with the upper wisdom teeth a month out is relatively uncommon. If you're tasting blood, it's likely just a small fragment of bone working its way out. It may be that you're tasting some small remnant of granulation tissue in the area as well or possibly food getting trapped in the site. Keep the area clean and see your dentist if the problem persists.

Tooth Extraction: One major complication after wisdom teeth extraction is dry socket. This is when your blood clot fails to form properly and fill the socket where you had the tooth. The bone of the socket is left expose and healing is slower with chances of infection. After 4 weeks dry socket is usually not an issue. You may have an infection from food trapped in the socket. See the dentist who extracted the teeth.
