I have a mole at the base of my neck and more recently i have discovered a lump under the skin in the area of the mole it is a hard lump but i can move it under the skin by applying pressure with my finger should i be concerned ?

Yes: If the mole has changed character it should be removed and evaluated for melanoma. Melanomas typically spread to adjecent lymph nodes. The lump will need to be removed also. The odds are that all will be benign.
