Potentially: Many issues depending on how severe. These may include: arrythmias such as atrial fibrillation, hypertension, cardiomyopathy and heart failure. Other issues could also include weight loss, elevated blood sugar, anxiety, hair loss, shortness of breath and the list goes on. Bottom line get treated.

Not a good idea: As untreated it can lead to arrythmia & anxiety to name just a couple of things.
