What happens if you feel like you're having an asthma attack but you don't have and inhaler?

Airway constriction: This airway constriction could then result in collapse and even death. Don't let your inhalers expire and keep them within easy reach.

ER: If you experience shortness of breath and don't have an inhaler, you would need to get evaluated emergently (ex er, urgent care, etc.). Shortness of breath is a medical emergency requiring emergent care.
