DVT: Depending on how long you were sedentary, you may have developed deep vein thrombosis. Is the back of your leg, calf, the location of pain? If so this may be a reason. If you smoke there is higher chance of this as well. Ankle sprain, grade 2, should heal within 4-6 weeks. Go to a vascular specialist or orthopedic for further evaluation as soon as possible.

Thrombophebitis: May be deep vein thrombophlebitis which is a clot in vein. This needs to be evaluated and tested for this now. Go to physician or er if after hours. A clot is considered a medical emergency.
