Diarrhea: Diarrhea orvitting can cause serious dehydration. Sometes oral rehydration is not enough and one may need intravenous fluids. During significant dehydration there is decrease fluid bolume. Upon standing up blood pulls to legs causing decrease flow to brain and can cause lightheadness and fainting episode. Going to er for IV hydration maybe a good idea.
