When bowel movement is coming i get strong pressure in neck & head, feel sluggish, sleepy & mentally dull until i void. it then passes quickly, why?.

Valsalva maneuver: When we bear down to move our bowels there may be a slowing of blood flow to the brain momentarily. In your case this may be somewhat exaggerated and you may not be aware of bearing down. . Some people strain and get lightheaded during a bowel movement.
