Flu vaccine: There should be no problem. You may experience a low grade fever and other mild flu like symptoms that should resolve in a few days.

Safe: Other than some mild side effects such as redness or soreness on the site where the shot was given, there are no major safety concerns as long as you’re not allergic to either shot. You won’t get any added benefit from the extra shot according to studies of multiple doses of flu vaccine in adults. Only some kids ages 8 years and under may benefit from two doses.
