Ask your surgeon: Your plastic surgeon likely gave specific directions on the use of your elastic band. It is okay to call their office to review the instructions. The type and location of the implants will be important as well.

Bars band & massage: I usually have my patients where an upper breast band for 3 weeks on a continual basis 24x7 and then switch to nightly wear for an additional 3 weeks if they remain high riding. I have an instructional video on youtube: http://m.Youtube.Com/watch?V=gwndv66zgxy as well as an app "placik protocol".

Massage the implants: In my practice, I have patients massage their breasts to help the implants stay in the correct position and to help decrease the risk of capsular contraction. To do this, i ask my patients to massage the implant vertically and horizontally with a focus on pressing down on the implants to avoid them from rising up.
