Depends: I doubt anyone has studied the pharmacodynamics of all the various formulations available of ginkgo so i can't give you a specific answer but the herb is usually given 2-3 times a day suggesting a short half-life. On the other hand, my research indicates that you should be off it for 2 weeks prior to anticipated surgery so there may be some lingering long term effects.
