Pericarditis?: Chest pain that hurts more when lying down, gets worse with deep breathing and gets better with sitting up usually means pericarditis. It is due to inflammation of the outer lining of the heart, the pericardium and is caused by a viral infection, influenza or coxsackie virus. It is treated conservatively w/ anti-inflammatories, but you should see a cardiologist to be sure it's not something else.
