Dermatographia: Your description sounds like a type of hives called dermatographia. The name comes because people can write on their skin and then the skin shows the letters they wrote by making hives where it was scratched. Anywhere people with this are touched, they will get another hive. The treatment is to take antihistamines pretty regularly to prevent the hives. Try zyrtec or Allegra (fexofenadine) and see your doctor.
