No: The short answer is no, lung nodules are in areas of the body which do not have pain receptors. A nodule that involves the pleura (lining or edge) of the lung might present with pain if large enough and if it grows through the parietal pleura (lining of the chest wall) but a 4mm lung nodule would not be painful.
