If i was on 40 mgs of citlapram for while got off, stayed off for 11 months, got back on 40 for a month then back to 1 mg. do u think ill get back to my normal self?

Dosage?: Are you on 10mg of citalopram? It isn't available in a 1mg tablet - are you taking anything else? With medications like citalopram, it's important that you stay consistent because the medication is usually effective in decreasing the frequency of anxiety attacks. But if that medication isn't right for you -every med affects someone differently- you should consider another med to manage ur anxiety.

Depression: Im pretty sure your dose may be 10mg not 1mg. However, did you drop from 40 to 10 the result of any side effects? Dropping that quick in 30 days is usually because of drug related effects. The usualy course in treating depression is attain an effective dose, maintain it for a length of time , then evaluate the patient for a reduction. Every case is different.Discuss with physician.
