Celexa (citalopram): Among other symptoms of withdrawal, this is very possible, especially since u have been on Celexa (citalopram) for several months. Hope it is helping your anxiety.

For mental Health: Medication to work , it has to be taken on daily basis and it takes 4-6 weeks to show effect. Not taking it on daily basis can cause withdrawal symptoms
