Is it okay to use listerine while pregnant?

Yes: I always say check with your obstetrician first, but my answer is "yes", as long as you are not drinking it. The benefits will outweigh any risks.

Yes and no...: Although listerine and other over the counter antiseptic mouthwashes won't pose risk to your pregnancy as long as you don't consume them, they confer precious little benefit. That may ruffle the feathers of a multi-billion dollar industry a bit, but otc mouthwashes don't add value over and above a simple toothbrush and dental floss, and may induce tissue sensitivity reactions. Save your money.

Yes: Yes, listerine is a very good product for the control and prevention of gingivitis. Hormonal changes during pregnancy can lead to pregnancy gingivitis. It is important to maintain very good oral hygiene during pregnancy.
