Gum disease: Gum disease requires constant monitoring and treatment by your dentist or a periodontist. There are no otc fixes for the problem. Please discuss this with your dentist before problem gets out of hand.

Listerine may help: just a bit. Therefore a better mouth rinse is chlorhexadine. Your dentist can prescribe this medication for you.
