Don't think so...: The phototherapy for newborns with jaundice is not ultraviolet light, but a particular wavelength of blue light (420-470nm). Uv light is used for treating some patients with psoriasis. The very mild jaundice in gilbert's syndrome does not need treatment.

Gilbert's Syndrome: The typical treatment would be blue light at 450 nanometers but there are references that show that uva radiation can also be effective. However, treatment with uva can eventually lead to the development of skin cancer over an extended time period.
