Not likely: Gilbert's syndrome is an elevated total and indirect bilirubin unrelated to any disease and is caused by an inherited difference in bilirubin metabolism. It is usually benign although some medicine metabolism may also be affected, there is usually no need to adjust medication doses except in rare instances. It may very occasionally cause a slight yellow skin or sclera tint.
