Taste and Flavor: You may use ginger for its taste and flavor in foods, but do not expect any medical benefits. You can buy fresh ginger at most food stores.

Ginger: Ginger can help heartburn, menstrual cramps & migraine headaches. Ginger is excellent for upset stomach including nausea from motion sickness, menstruation & morning sickness. It has an anti-inflammatory effect. It’s excellent for sxs of flu & the common cold. Fresh, organic ginger tea is a good form to use. I have personally used it for severe sore throat & nausea & found it beneficial.
