Mostly GI: In limited studies, ginger was found to be more effective than placebo for treating nausea caused by seasickness, morning sickness and chemotherapy. Other preliminary studies showed that ginger may affect arthritis pain or have blood thinning and cholesterol lowering properties.

Ginger: Agree with dr. Mccreadie. Ginger can help heartburn, menstrual cramps & migraine headaches. Ginger is excellent for upset stomach including nausea from motion sickness, menstruation & morning sickness. It has an anti-inflammatory effect. It’s excellent for sxs of flu & the common cold.
