Are they burning: Or just feel like they are? If they just feel that way, likely this is a form of neuropathy. You may get some relief of symptoms with some of the neuropathy medications.

Nerve entrapment: What you are describing could be caused by entrapment of your nerves to your feet. If the burning and hotness start on the inside part of your foot it could be tarsal tunnel syndrome, if on the outside it could be caused by your sural nerve. If all over, then pressure from your shoes on the top and front of your ankle is causing the problem. Try different shoes. It could be to standing a lot.
