A member asked:

Is it ok to take 10mg of citolapram, 1 mg of clonazepram and 10 mg of cyclobenzaprine for anxiety/panic attacks/depression? the er prescribed them!

Mostly okay: The citalopram (at a tiny dose) was probably prescribed to prevent the frequency of panic attacks in the future, and Clonazepam for the short-term. Cyclobenzaprine is usually prescribed for muscle spasms - i would be careful taking Clonazepam and cyclobenzaprine, as it could make you quite sleepy - i would weigh the risk vs. Benefit - are the attacks or the muscle spasms worse right now?

Medications: I'd suggest starting with only the citalopram and Clonazepam -- and for sure get yourself a psychiatrist to follow you. For best outcome you may also need a psychotherapist, unless the psychiatrist also does psychotherapy. Psychotherapy (cognitive behavioral especially these days) can help you discover and deal with thoughts that trigger your anxiety feelings. Those skills out-last meds.
