What does it meant to have broken shoulder blade?

Scapular fracture: The shoulder blade is part of the scapula. These often do not need treatment but an x-ray and sometimes a cat scan is needed to make the diagnosis and determine the proper treatment.

It depends: Shoulder blade (scapula) fractures are not very common. Most such fractures heal without surgery. Surgical repair may be warranted for fractures that or significantly displaced.
