Minimal: Yes for some.. At 10 mg the side effects should be minimal. Side effects to Doxepin can include dry mouth, blurred vision, constipation, urinary retention, impaired concentration. Avoid in the elderly.

Doxepin: At higher doses, it works as an antidepressant, but at the dose u mentioned it is prescribed for sleep mainly.
