Is inulin safe during pregnancy? i've been taking it in the form of metamucil (not the same as psyllium though). i've read that it's a vegetable fiber but just wanted to be sure it's safe. i'm in my 3rd trimester.

AS LONG AS IT IS: A non absorbable compund(which it is) and it is not used in excess, it should be fine.
