Is it normal for your first period postpartum (ten months postparum, nursing twins)to start out dark five days after a glob of white discharg?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Just one episode?: A doctor can check to see if there is any worrisome medical issue, if a woman has unusual menstrual-related symptoms. Many women have some variation of their periods or a missed period on occasion. Some women feel normal after a few days, but others do have bothersome symptoms and need follow-up with their doctors. Brief symptoms, but followed by complete normalcy, is usually reassuring.
