Why testing?: I would contact your doctor to find out why D dimer testing is being done. We can not interpret this simply based on the lab results without knowing the clinical context. Ask your doctor why the test was being done and what other testing was also done. Ask for clarification on why the testing is being done and what concerns the doctor might be wrong.
