I am having mid-cycle spotting, no bbt shift. erratic temps. i have pcos, this is my 1st postpartum period while still nursing. reason for spotting?

It may be related to your breast feeding. Elevated prolactin (the hormone needed to produce breast milk) can sometimes cause irregular bleeding and in some it causes lack of a period (amenorrhea). Alot of women too think they can't get pregnant while breast feeding, so if not using birth control and active check a pregnancy test. It could be resumption of pcos though its a bit early for that.
