If i have gastritis & im on dexilant (dexlansoprazole) but i still have nausea, acid indigestion, etc.. does this mean dexilant (dexlansoprazole) is not working? do i switch ppi's?

Depends...: ...Duration of treatment, dose of dexilant, (dexlansoprazole) inciting factors (ongoing NSAID use, tobacco, alcohol), likelihood of excessive acid production (e.g. Gastrinoma), risk factors (e.g. Prior ulcers, family history), biopsy results. Please provide your prescribing doctor with your response to these questions so he can best advise you.
