What meds?: Coul;d be lupus, your meds, or something else. I recommend nutritional support using biotin 7500mcg, a b-50 complex, and folic acid. You did not decribe alopecia per se, but if you are sick, you are also catabolic, and hair falls out faster. Since you did not mention meds, i can't help you there. See your rheumatology practitioner to address the meds. Keep in mind, damaged follicles shed!

See a dermatologist: Lupus can cause hair loss. This needs further evaluation to determine if it indeed lupus as ther are other causes of hair loss. If it is from lupus, ther are many medications used to get the lupus under control and prevent further loss.
