Possibly: If you have oral genital sex, then yes. Typically, hsv 2 has been associated with genital herpes. But, with the increase in oral genital sex, there has been crossover with hsv 1 causing genital herpes.

HSV-1: Hsv 1 probably causes less than 10% of genital herpes infections but can be treated the same as hsv-2.
