Thorough evaluation: A neurologist will take a full history, and review prior medical records and testing. An exam focused on neurological systems, and screening of your general health, will be conducted. A provisional diagnosis will be mentioned with an explanation as to why you possess your symptoms. Some additional testing may be ordered, and medications may be prescribed.

Neurologist: Your first visit with the neurologist will likely involve a thorough history, complete physical exam including comprehensive neurological exams, and review of prior imaging studies. After this visit, the neurologist may order additional imaging and/or testing based on findings.

NEUROLOGY: I agree with the previous 2 Doctors and I'd like to recommend that you give as complete history of your symptoms and history as possible. If you want to start writing down notes ahead it might help you remember.
