Two possibilities: Unlikely that you are going through menopause at 36 years of age, but that's always a possibility. Average age for menopause is 51. More than likely you have had some cycle where you didn't ovulate and thus didn't have a period. This is something that definitely needs to be evaluated by a physician. You should have your hormones checked, your thyroid and your pituitary.
