How long does a 2nd degree liver laceration take to heal? i stayed in the hospital for 2 days for monitoring, no surgery needed. the physician said there was minimal bleeding. i am wondering how long i should wait to drink alcohol.

One month: There is no definite info regarding mild drinking and liver laceration healing. I just makes sense not to challenge the liver while it is healing. On the other hand, was your laceration related to your drinking? If so, you need to get it under control before something worse happens.
