What is a sticky liquid coming out of my left eye?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Eye secretion: If this secretion is relatively clear it could be a mucous secretion. If it is green or yellow it could represent an infection. Either could also be associated with a nasolacrimal duct obstruction or a tear sac infection. It would be best to see an ophthalmologist if this persists.
