Dealing with fear: Good medicine goes much deeper than numbers. The very fact that you have what you rightly characterize as "anxiety" (i.e., concern that is interfering with you doing the things you like to do) warrants a physician's office visit, and probably (since the focus is cancer) endoscopy from both ends to allay your concerns. The 'scope artists won't miss a cancer that's symptomatic. Good luck.
