A member asked:

Bloated and gassy after i eat and stomach makes noises is this a sign of colon cancer? im 38 years old?

Bloating is triggered by air swallowed during feeds or fluid intake; carbonation released from beverages plus gas created by gut germs feeding on intestinal debris. The gut gas creates noise when it moves through the intestines. It is not a sign specific to any disease including cancer.

No it is not. Watch your diet to see which foods make you gassy and eliminate/reduce them. Exercise, Drink water and eat with mouth closed so you do not swallow air. Good luck.
