For now: A simple temporary plan includes a dose of Ibuprofen followed by placing a heating pad on a low setting near the affected ear. The brain seems to sense the warm better & it can decrease the pain. I would take her in to be evaluated by her pcp in the office or an urgent care center during regular hours.
