See an ENT: Nosebleeds are bread and butter problems for ENT doctors. Your father needs to see one and have his nose evaluated and treated. It should not be difficult to cauterize his nose and lead to significant improvement in the frequency and severity of his bleeds.

See ENT: The nosebleeds may be unrelated to the crest. There are many causes of nosebleeds are some are quite easy to fix. Have your father see an ENT surgeon for an evaluation.
