PT and NSAIDs: Physical therapy in association with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (like ibuprofen) are a good way to alleviated the pain and stiffness of a neck muscle strain. Osteopathic manipulation is also an option. Make sure the treatment is coordinated by your physician - you don't want to take any medicine that may interact with other treatments you are receiving.
