My friend is diabetic, he takes gluconor g-2 1000 mg daily in the morning, is it good for him or not? he is a type 1 diabetic.

Are you sure?: Are you sure it's gluconor g2? This is Glimepiride and metformin. If he is truly a type 1 diabetic, he doesn't need this pill. This pill is used for type 2 diabetics. Check with him whether he's a type 1 or type 2, or check with his doc.
