Teach handwashing: There is no better and simpler way to prevent transmission of disease than washing hands with soap and water. Not only tell the kids to do it but also show them how to do it yourself. When they start getting colds and flu, make sure they know how to avoid touching their faces and to cough into their sleeves plus wash hands well.
