Healthy meals: You want your sugar to remain stable rather spiking, because that leads to rapid drops. Make sure your meals contain protein and healthy fats, not just carbs. Eat something that has all 3 components about every 3-4 hours. Don't ignore your first warning signs that something is "off" -- take a short break and eat something. Raw almonds or walnuts can make a good snack.
