What is the difference between glimeripide and metformin?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Different dm meds: They are both for diabetes but they work by different mechanism. Glimepiride makes the pancreas produce more Insulin while metformin prevents the liver from making too much sugar and allow the Insulin to work better.
